Birmingham City started working with Sports Alliance in 2005 for an initial implementation of a CRM system. The focus of the CRM system has been mainly in the area of Corporate Sales. While using Sports Alliance analists to provide lists for consumer marketing campaigns.

Recently Birmingham City has replaced the initial Ascent CRM system developed by Ciber with a hosted Microsoft Dynamics CRM Application, provided again by Ciber. Sports Alliance has managed the transition from Ascent to MS CRM by providing help in setting up the system, staff training and by integrating with the MS CRM system and a 3rd party Email Service Provider,CommunicatorCorp.
